ultimate and intense

Mad Max: Fury Road is a post-apocalyptic film released in 2015 and is basically the pinnacle of action films (I mean, I may be wrong because I’m not really a fan of anything action). It was written, produced and directed by George Miller, a veteran Australian filmmaker and is considered as one of the best directors of our time. As mentioned above, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic manner where everything is scarce and displayed an intense and aggressive amount of masculine pride throughout the whole duration of the film.

To tell you honestly I didn’t understand what was happening in the beginning of the film and was at lost for words about how crazy everything was. Everyone was screaming words I can not understand, everyone seemed like they were in a brawl. But, I can’t believe I’m saying this but I loved it and I appreciated action films and all the preparations and the hard work they’ve put into this film. It was an action packed 2 hours, it will HONESTLY leave you wanting for more. Also, everyone was fit for their roles and made everything work. Also, a great thing about Mad Max is that it was actually fast paced, something a lot of action filmmakers fail to do – because some of the action movies I’ve watched are dragging and it’ll bore you till the next scene happens. But, somehow I failed to appreciate some of the scenes because of it being fast paced.

What I realized at the end of the film was that it seemed like men can not live without sexual partners in far, post-apocalyptic places anymore or any place for that matter. In addition, I also feel like Mad Max has set standards in action films – especially, the stunts and the car chases. Also, based on the articles I’ve read about the film, it was stated that they didn’t use CGI in some of the scenes and it amazed me how they’ve managed to pull everything off despite not using CGI. I also thought that it puts other action films to shame (just kidding! haha).

Over all, I appreciated the film and the message it conveys. I also highly recommend this film to anyone who haven’t watched it and bask in its full glory.
